The Monday Morning Coffee Stop

Come and Meet

Sunday after the Eucharist in Playa del Ingles at Grill Gambrinius

Wednesday 12.30 -2pm at Lolitas on the Parque Santa Catalina in Las Palmas

Friday after the Eucharist in Puerto de Mogán at Tapas Tapas.

Each venue is an opportunity to share fellowship with each other over a coffee or meal, your choice and as for as long as you wish.

The European Anglican.

The next edition is now out and contains a picture from Las Palmas. Available from church.

Other News

The toilet is now back in working order after extensive work. Roots from the Palm trees in the street had invaded our drains and so they were blocked over many metres. To provide facilities we had to hire a Portaloo. I am not sure what the final cost of this major repair will be but it will be around the 2,000€ mark. As a result a greater part of what we raised at the Bazaar has gone down the drain!  If you would like to help refresh our funds, donations are very much welcome. They can be given either to Betty or myself.

The Bazaar

The Bazaar in December raised a gross figure of 3,600€. Well done and tank you to all who made it a fantastic success.

Outreach

At a recent Council meeting it was decided to support Casa de Galicia, here in the city which provides family support ie food and other help such as collecting dry food. After the Epiphany the food will go to the local Caritas outlet.

Please bring bars of soap and other toiletries for CAIPSHO in San Fernando  which is a project for homeless men.

Boxes for both charities  are now available at the back of Church or can be handed in at Puerto de Mogán or Playa del Ingles.
